SINGAPORE PAVILION
AT VENICE BIENNALE
EXHIBITION, CUSTOM LOGO, VISUAL IDENTITY, PUBLICATION
Within the growing existence and inertia of polarised societies, the exhibition explores the strength and leverage of new collective futures. What is possible when we gather? How can architecture help carve the possible pathways ahead?
To-gather: The Architecture of Relationships examines the different ways in which we share space, in our city and with one another. The exhibition took reference from spatial environments in Singapore, how local culture plays a part in curating the space we live in.

CUSTOM LOGOTYPE Being able to read the exhibition’s title in many ways speaks of the multi-modal manner in which communities gather to create spaces that bridge with others. Custom letterforms are reconfigured in multiple ways to form the exhibition title. When placed together, they make their own city of negative and positive space.

EXHIBITION The exhibition is split into four sections: Imagining, Communing, Uncovering, and Framing. Each section is easily distinguished within the exhibition space by its unique icon and color.

CATALGOUE The exhibition includes a catalogue that documents the 16 works presented in the pavilion. Following the same visual system as the exhibition, the color and logo is maintained in laying out the catalogue. Each section features its own essay, differentiated by a narrower page width.
